Mum won, the devil lost.

LATE MRS ALICE SIKPI

Death be not proud!!!

Death is not the end but the start of eternal rest
Death is conquered because heaven at last
Death is swallowed up because victory is secured over bodily pains, physical troubles and struggles...
Death is only a vehicle to a new realm of glory, peace and a state of perfection.

Mum is now in a better realm without sorrows
Mum sits in heaven with the most high
Mum sings hallelujah with the host of angels
Mum is comforted by her legacies of love, care...

The devil fought to keep her  in anguish but God took her to end the anguish
The devil fought to take her to hell, but God took her to the heavens above
The devil fought to make her deny God, but God helped her to remain firm in her love for God
The devil tried to to plant seeds of hatred in heart, but the love of God prevailed in her heart...

Her children meant everything to her...
Everyone around her felt her love and care...
Even against hope, she was hopeful.
Even in her last days of pains, she cared about the comfort of her children/others.

Who can wear her shoes now...
Who can take her place...
Who can fill the vacuum...
Who can, yes who can give his/her all like she did...

To be continued.

Sleep well dear mum.

ASCSN BAYELSA BRANCH & CHAPTER CONDEMNS INVASION OF HER NATIONAL SECRETARIAT BY HOODLUMS

ASCSN BAYELSA STATE BRANCH AND CHAPTER CONDEMNS THE RECENT INVASION OF THE NATIONAL SECRETARIAT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF SENIOR CIVIL SERVANTS OF NIGERIA IN YABA LAGOS BY FORMER PRESIDENT INNOCENT BOLA AUDU AND HIS HIRED HOODLUMS

The Bayelsa State Branch and Chapter Executive Committee members of the ASSOCIATION OF SENIOR CIVIL SERVANTS OF NIGERIA have jointly condemned the recent invasion of the national secretariat of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Yaba, Lagos by suspected hoodlums led by a former national president of the Association, Mr. Innocent Bola Audu

Available reports show that the aggrieved former president, Mr. Innocent Bola Audu who was asked to step aside by the National Executive Council of the Association in November 2020 to clear his name in court for allegations against him by NAPTIP for trafficking in human persons etc, and to absolve the Association of complicity, refused to step aside but forcefully invaded the national secretariat annex in Abuja.

In March 2022, the NEC-in-session was forced to expel the former national president for anti union activities and refusal to step aside pending the outcome of the court cases instituted against him by NAPTIP and a suit he filed against the Association for asking him to step aside.

Not satisfied, Bola Audu Innocent after recruiting other expelled members and some former staff of the Association hired hoodlums who in company of him went to invade the national secretariat of the Association in Lagos for the second time and physically assaulted workers on duty on Monday 22nd August 2022.

Consequently, we believe that no right thinking person can take laws into his/her hands to upturn the decision taken by the National Executive Council of an Association without recourse to the provisions of the laws of the federation especially when the matter is still in court.

It is therefore our appeal to the relevant security agencies to act swiftly in calling the said hoodlums led by Comr. Innocent Bola Audu to order and allow the smooth operations of the National Secretariat of the Association and all its offices across the nation.

It is noteworthy that at an Emergency meeting of the South South zonal leaders of the Association comprising of Central Working Committee members, Branch Chairmen, Chapter Chairmen and State Secretaries within the South South region has passed a vote of confidence on the incumbent national leadership of the Association led by Comr. Tommy Etim Okon as National President and Comr. Bashir Ahmed Lawal as Secretary General.

All members of the zonal forum are pleased with the Tommy Okon's led administration as several achievements have been recorded especially with the recent courtesy visit to President Muhammadu Buhari where vital issues of concern to the entire workers in Nigeria were presented.

The Man Obi Cubana

On the 16th through 18th of July 2021, the town called Oba in Anambra State of Nigeria went agog leaving everyone bewildered as to the display of wealth by several young Nigerian businessman.

It was the burial ceremony of the mother of a young business mogul, Obi Cubana who is said to be successful in business and has raised several businessmen and billionaires. These men who he is said to have raised in business mobilised themselves not just to attend the burial of his mother but thronged the town with exotic cars to show their gratitude to him for being a very good mentor, friend and associate to them for several years.

After contributing over eight hundred million naira (#800,000,000) and over 350 cows for the burial, they appeared with several bags/bundles of cash and sprayed not just notes but bundles of cash without looking back. Members of the community and others from neighbouring communities were so excited to pick several amounts of money sprayed on them at the burial. Amongst his friends and associates who attended the burial were men fondly called Emoney, Cubana Chief Priest, Jowizaza, Kcee, Quincy Nippon and several others.

A lot of persons who could not fathom the wanton display of wealth concluded that only ritualists could display such wealth.

But from personal findings, it is obvious that most of these men are not ritualists but men who understand the language of growing businesses and have acquired wealth through diligence and many years of sacrifice in several Business ventures including import and export of goods.

In an interview after the burial, Obi Cubana made the following statements;

"I want to state this clearly, I am not the talking type or Social media interest free person"

Obi Cubana; finally speaks

"Many have questioned the type of boys and friends I have, to me, I hardly address anyone as my boy because we are all boys to God Almighty.

I don't have any boy who is into rituals, if you are my boy or my man because I like to address my boys as my men, it means you are working hard and you  made your money in a clean way.

In 2013, I pushed 53 uneducated Oba boys into the market to learn trading. In 2017, I withdrew all of them from their Ogas and settled all of them with 3million Naira each and paid for their shops.

I linked 40 of them into importation and made them use my name and platform to import goods into the country. After two years, I checked on them how they were doing and find out some had issues and I supported them again to stand.

I am happy today that out of the 53 men, 38 are billionaires while the rest are in the level of a millionaire.

In 2018, I took 100 educated men out of streets and introduced them to the white men for business and today there are billionaires in dollars.

They also help me in their capacity when I require their help. All their friends both Nigeria and outside patronises me.

I am into hotel and club business and I have so many businesses I am brand ambassadors to.

I have alliance with spirit drinks and wines, I am brand to many businesses in the world.

It gives me joy to see my men do well, non of my hotel managers in Nigeria can small poverty, I encourage them to raise  others from their local communities. I have never sacked a worker due to misconduct, I bring you in and speak to you the way you will understand.

I have this understanding that we should allow the stubborn people to exist and cool headed people to exist and we make use of them when their needs arises.

I don't believe in the supremacy of power rather I believe in the fare share of power and authority and allow everyone to feel belonged.

I have many uncountable people through my hotel business, I have encouraged many, I have made a lot of friends millionaires and billionaires because it gives me joy. Seeing them throw money around gives me happiness and they know, so anytime there are with me, they show such attitude of throwing money to please me.

Yes, I will gift 1 million to 300 Oba boys to start up business and link them up too to make it.

I have a lot of friends and associates and we are like brothers to each other. We love and encourage one another in good and bad as you have seen in my case that all of them came massively to support me.

Critics is normal and there are there to say what they want to say but when you are doing the right thing, you don't listen to what people say. If I have my way, I will also help those criticising me.

A lot of non Obas will still benefit from me because I am still in the business of making people great.

Cubana chief priest is my man and he is a jolly fellow. People mistake him for me, I am Obi Cubana and he is my Chief priest I hope you understand it now.

I am not into politics and I don't have interest in it till tomorrow. I respect those in politics because dey carry power. Lol hahaha.

My advice is they should identify talents and make them great, don't have any fear of who betrays you tomorrow, just make men and move, if they remember good if not be happy that they made it through you.

I didn't asked my boys/men for donations or help, I didn't also asked my friends for help or donations they did that on their own and I appreciated their efforts.

Gradually ala Igbo ga adinma"
